Gregory Gentile, CTP, President

As president, Greg uses his extensive experience in electronic payments, cash management and business development to generate strong business results for Govolution. Greg brings over 20 years of payment technology and management experience to Govolution. He previously served Govolution as executive vice president for five years. Prior to Govolution, Greg was CEO for Unicate S.A. (Holland), an identification, authentication and anti-counterfeit technology company with over 50 international patents. Prior to Unicate, Greg spent ten years with XRT S.A., a leading provider of treasury management technology with over 12,000 corporate clients world-wide. At XRT, Greg served as president and managing director of XRT Europe LLC (London), and senior vice president, sales and marketing for XRT S.A (U.S.). Greg spent seven years with First Investors Corporation, a Wall Street-based investment firm with over $4 billion in assets under management, where he served as division manager and registered investment principal. Greg studied economics at Virginia Commonwealth University and has obtained accreditations of Certified Cash Manager (CCM) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) from the Association of Treasury Professionals.

Frank Pfundstein, CPA, Controller

As controller, Frank is responsible for coordinating, planning and reporting on the financial activities of Govolution. Frank joined Govolution in 2003 and has been an integral part of the management team. Prior to joining Govolution, Frank acquired, grew and sold two successful businesses over a ten year period. Frank began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co, serving in several positions and most recently as a senior auditor. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting

Nikki Edmund, Vice President of Product Development

As vice president for product development, Nikki has over 10 years of progressive experience providing software programming and development to a variety of clients. He has a broad base of professional experience in the fields of information technology consulting and has worked with Financial Institutions as well as both Federal and State clients to achieve specific program goals. He has implemented his background in Computer Science and Mathematics to create versatile customer e-commerce solutions for over eight years, programming with an extensive array of languages on a variety of operating systems.  Nikki received his Bachelor's degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Alterwitz, Vice President of Sales

As vice president of sales, Jennifer is responsible for management of Govolution’s direct and partner sales teams. Jennifer joined Govolution in 2008, bringing significant enterprise technology sales experience to the company. Jennifer maintains over 20 years of strategic marketing and business development expertise to support the vertical markets Govolution serves. Prior to joining Govolution, Jennifer was the President of JA Consulting LLC, where she was retained by clients such as Pitney Bowes Software, AOL, Interwoven, Ernst and Young, and Intermedia, to execute and manage growth strategies in both private and public sectors including government, utilities, telecommunications, financial services and healthcare. Additionally, Jennifer led North American Professional Services marketing for Sybase’s Enterprise Portal, and she served as the US-based CEO of AND International, BV., a Netherlands headquartered IT global data technology, mapping and publishing company. Jennifer studied Business, Marketing and Economics at The University of Southern California.

Gary Morris, Senior Vice President, Technical Operations

As senior vice president of technical operations, Gary is responsible for managing Govolution’s transaction processing platforms including capture and settlement operations, and connectivity to all financial processors. Gary was a founding employee of Govolution in 2000 and led the design, build-out and management of Govolution’s state-of-the-art technical platforms. Gary and his team manage all aspects of Govolution’s hosted bill presentment and payment processing platforms used by the world’s largest banks and financial institutions as well as numerous corporations, federal, state and local governments. He developed the first federal government online ACH processing platform for the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He is instrumental in maintaining security and operational audit compliance and holds a SANS Institute GIAC GCIA certification for security and intrusion prevention. Prior to joining Govolution, Gary was Chief Technology Officer of DirectCounseling.com where he led technical design teams and played a key role in the executive team’s corporate development, financing and customer acquisition efforts. Prior to that, Gary worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton for 4 and half years developing and implementing enterprise systems for payroll and engagement management. Gary received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland in International Business.

Frank Padovano, CTP, Vice President, Client Services

As vice president of client services, Frank is responsible for managing Govolution’s professional services team to provide highest quality project management, implementation support and consulting to customers. Frank’s considerable experience in the electronic payments industry and expertise in project management has enabled Govolution to rapidly deploy solutions for customers utilizing e-payment industry best practices. Frank joined Govolution in 2004, working in support of numerous large-scale, complex, electronic payment system implementations such as the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He then assumed client relationship management responsibilities for a number of product resellers before being named to his current position in 2007. Frank brings more than eighteen years of experience with companies such as Capital One Financial Corporation, Mobil Corporation, and the United States Navy to Govolution. Frank received his Bachelor of Chemistry degree from the University of Rochester and his Masters degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
